Finance Ministry reports $6.4 billion shortfall in taxes

The Finance Ministry is reporting that there is a $6.4 billion shortfall in production and consumption taxes such as the GCT and SCT for the period April to November of this fiscal year.
 
The government collected $173.68 billion out of the $180 billion it programmed for.
 
Meanwhile, the ministry says it raked in $90.25 billion in payroll taxes, $415 million less than the $90.66 billion programmed for during the period.
