JPS launches pilot programme to streamline billing cycles

The Jamaica Public Service Company (JPS) has launched a pilot programme to improve efficiency by streamlining its billing cycles.

The two month pilot project is underway in St. Catherine, Clarendon and St. Andrew North and will continue into December.

The JPS says the streamlining of its billing cycles will mean that customers' bills will become due towards the end of the month.

The company says this will be of particular benefit to customers paid towards the end of month.

The JPS says the initiative is in response to concerns from many customers requesting a due date in keeping with their salary cycles.
