Medical Disposables and Supplies is reporting a higher profit of $2.16 million for its first quarter ended June 2024.
In the similar period ended June 2023, the company saw a loss of $110,000.
This was supported by higher revenue of $972.69 million - a 4.8 per cent increase, versus the $925.51 million post tax earnings in the similar period ended June 2023.
This growth was however tempered by higher costs of sales.
Medical Disposables says there were increased performances of its pharmaceutical division, along with its subsidiary Cornwall Enterprises.
The company says cost containment and reduction are priority areas for the remainder of the financial year.
