Malcolm Sadler, Chief Financial Officer of NCB Financial Group
National Commercial Bank Financial Group says it recorded a higher profit of $7.39 billion for its third quarter ended June 2024.
In the comparative period ended June 2023, NCBFG made $4.87 billion.
Chief Financial Officer Malcolm Sadler said this also supported an increase in the nine months' post tax earnings as at June.
"The group reported consolidated net profit of $21.1 billion for nine months ended June 2024, representing 79 per cent or $9.3 billion increase over the prior year," Mr. Sadler reported at the company's investor briefing on Friday morning.
The group also posted higher operating income of $28.93 billion in the quarter.
That's compared to the $28.29 billion made in the similar period ended June 2023.
