Sagicor Group Jamaica has announced strategic leadership appointments aimed at strengthening its core operations and advancing its regional growth plans.
Effective May 1, Willard Brown will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer of Sagicor Life Jamaica.
Mr. Brown, a 34-year veteran of the company, previously served as Chief Technology and Insurance Operations Officer.
In his new role, he will oversee all divisions of SLJ's life insurance business and lead efforts to boost operational efficiency, enhance customer service and pursue new market opportunities and regions such as Panama and Costa Rica.
Meanwhile, Joanna Banks has been named Executive Vice President, Strategy and Business Development and a Chief Technology Officer, taking on an expanded mandate that includes oversight of the group's technology and digital innovation functions.
Her role will be crucial in driving the company's digital transformation and strategic initiatives to enhance competitiveness and market agility.
