The JSE Index gained 1,606 points on Tuesday, while the Junior Market increased by 36 points.
Among the 50 winners were: 138 Student Living VR shares, Sagicor Select Funds - Financial, The LAB, JFP and One Great Studio.
The 41 decliners included: Jetcon Corporation, Berger Paints, Sagicor Select Funds - Manufacturing and Distribution, AMG Packaging and Paper Company and Sygnus Credit Investments US dollar shares.
Twenty-eight stocks closed the session, selling at the same price they started trading.
