The JSE Index gained 609 points on Thursday, while the Junior Market lost 36 points.
Among the winners were: Cargo Handlers, JMMB Group, Caribbean Flavours and Fragrances, Lasco Distributors and Proven Group US dollar shares.
The losers included: First Rock Real Estare Investments US dollar shares, Eppley 7.75 per cent preference shares, Caribbean Cream, MFS Capital Partners and 138 Student Living.
