The JSE Index gained 229 points on Thursday, while the Junior market increased by 14 points.
Among the winners were: MPC Caribbean Clean Energy, AMG Packaging & Paper Company, JMMB Group 7.25 per cent variable Jamaican dollar cumulative redeemable preference shares, Sygnus Real Estate Financial Jamaican dollar shares, and Sagicor Select Funds - Financial.
The losers included: Caribbean Assurance Brokers, Palace Amusement, Margaritaville (Turks) US dollar shares, Blue Power Group and Ciboney Group.
