The JSE Index gained 1,493 points, while the Junior Market increased by seven points.
Among the winners were: Pulse Investments, Wigton Windfarm, Blue Power Group, Ciboney Group and VM Investments.
The losers were led by: tTech, JMMB Group 7.25 per cent VR preference shares, TransJamaican Highway, Margaritaville (Turks) and Eppley.
