Wigton Windfarm appoints Gary Barrow as new CEO

Wigton Windfarm has appointed Gary Barrow as its Chief Executive Officer.

Mr Barrow retired as Chief Operating Officer at the light and power company Jamaica Public Service in October last year.

Wigton says the creation of the CEO position is among several organisational changes that will take effect on May 6.

Michelle Chin Lenn is the new Deputy Chief Executive Officer, while her previous position as Head of Energy will be dispensed with.

The Board of Directors of WIG says the changes, specifically the appointment of Mr Barrow will further allow the company to fully realise its vision of being a profitable, regional conglomerate with successful clean energy and other investments.
