Additional security measures will be implemented at the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH) in the wake of the theft of supplies from the institution.
This will include the installation of additional CCTV cameras.
Yesterday, RJR News reported that two persons were in the custody of the Kingston East police in connection with the seizure of the stolen items.
They were detained on Monday during an operation in Manley Meadows.
Chief Executive Officer of the KPH, Colleen Wright, told RJR News that several changes will be made to increase security at the hospital.
The stolen items include urine bags, latex gloves, gauze and paper towels.
