Barbadian prison declared free of COVID-19

After an outbreak that saw the number of COVID-19 cases surpassing 360, the lone prison in Barbados is now free of the virus.

Home Affairs Minister Wilfred Abrahams has declared that there’s no active case of the disease at Her Majesty’s Prisons Dodds, among either the staff or inmate population.

Two members of the prison's staff tested positive for COVID-19 on December 31 and mass testing was carried out at the prison.
