A curfew has been imposed in sections of the St Andrew South Police Division following Thursday night's attack by gunmen in Maverly which left three people dead and three injured.
The curfew which started yesterday evening will remain in effect until 6p.m. tomorrow.
The boundaries of the curfew are: north along an imaginary line in the vicinity of Potosi Avenue to Glendale Drive, east along Molynes Road to Washington Boulevard, south along Washington Boulevard from Molynes Road to Elma Crescent and west along to Elma Crescent to Potosi Avenue.
Yesterday Radio Jamaica News reported that investigators are scrutinising footage from closed-circuit television, CCTV, cameras as they probe the shooting of the six persons.
Commissioner of Police, Major General Antony Anderson, said he's optimistic that investigators will make a breakthrough.

And the police say they found a bullet proof vest during yesterday's operation in Granville, St. James.
Two illegal firearms including a high powered rifle and more than 30 rounds of ammunition were also found during the pre-dawn raid.
It was carried out by the Joint Anti-Gang Task Force and the St James police.
