Attorney Tom Tavares-Finson, KC, is expected to make a bail application on March 25, for Kerome Wint, the driver of the Subaru motor vehicle involved in a fatal crash in Clarendon last December.
Two students were killed in the crash on the Bustamante Highway.
Mr. Wint is charged with causing death by dangerous driving, driving without a road licence, and having no insurance coverage.
When he appeared in the Clarendon Parish court on Monday, the court was informed that the case file is still incomplete and he was further remanded.
Jodian Lodge and Richard Tulloh, students of Lennon High School, were killed in the crash.
The students were passengers in Mr. Wint's vehicle which collided with a Toyota Probox, a registered public passenger vehicle.
The police say Mr. Wint was operating an illegal taxi.
Three other students were injured in the crash.
It was reported that Mr. Wint was attempting to elude personnel from the Transport Authority and a police team, when the crash occurred.
He was captured hours later at Norman Manley International Airport attempting to flee the island.
