Jeremy Stewart, the driver of the Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) bus which crashed killing a teenage girl and injuring several persons in St. Ann in October, is scheduled to return to the St. Ann's Bay Resident Magistrate's Court on Friday.
Mr. Stewart, who is charged with manslaughter, was offered $600,000 bail with sureties when he appeared in court on October 25.
He was ordered to surrender his travel documents, and a stop order was enforced.
Mr. Stewart was taken into custody on October 16, one day after the bus, which was chartered for a church trip, plunged 30 feet into a ravine near the Faith's Pen refreshment stop in St Ann.
Sixteen year old Jodian Henry died and most of the other passengers were seriously hurt.
The Ministry of Transport said Mr. Stewart was not authorised to drive the bus.
