Former Chief Justice, Lensley Wolfe, has died

Former Chief Justice of Jamaica, Lensley Wolfe, has died.

He passed away on Tuesday evening.  
 
He served as Chief Justice of Jamaica from 1996 to 2007. He was called to the Bar at Lincoln's Inn in 1967 and served as Chief Justice from 1996 to 2007.
 
A graduate of the highly regarded St. Jago High School, Lensley Wolfe has been described as "a serious man" and "a devout Anglican". 
 
Chief Justice chaired the National Task Force on Crime, appointed by the Government of Jamaica, which submitted its report (commonly known as The Wolfe Report) in 1993.
 
He also served on the Jamaican Justice System Reform Task Forc (chaired by Professor Barry Chevannes), which submitted its final report in 2007.
