Ganja found at manufacturing plant in Bog Walk, St. Catherine

The narcotics police are probing the discovery of a large quantity of  ganja at a manufacturing plant in Bog Walk, St. Catherine, on Thursday.
 
Ganja, weighing almost 400 pounds, was discovered in a shipment of oranges and assorted juices destined for Barbados.
 
It is reported that employees at the factory were preparing a container when they discovered an anomaly with one of the boxes.
 
The narcotics police were called and during a search, 17 boxes containing 153 parcels with compressed ganja valued at $600,000 were found.
