INDECOM Commissioner Hugh Faulkner
The Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) says it is close to completing the probe into the alleged trimming of Rastafarian woman, Nzinga King, while in custody at Four Paths Police Station in Clarendon.
Miss King claims her locks were cut by a policewoman on July 22.
INDECOM Commissioner Hugh Faulkner told Radio Jamaica News that a final report on the investigation should be ready in 14 days after which "the matter will be directed to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions."
The attorney for Miss King, Isat Buchanan, has said he is concerned that the authorities have gone silent on the case.
