All countries from which travel to Jamaica had been prohibited have been removed from the government's ban list.
The only countries that had remained on the list were South American nations Brazil, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, and Paraguay.
The ban on India and Trinidad and Tobago had been recently lifted.
Prime Minister Andrew Holness made the announcement in the House of Representatives on Tuesday.
He noted that the countries had been banned because of their high COVID-19 infection rates and the threat of emerging variants or the virus.
However, Mr. Holness pointed out that these countries have since "controlled their outbreaks and have very high vaccination rates".
"So it doesn't make sense, Madam Speaker, that we are banning countries that have brought their infection rate under control and have higher vaccination rates than ours," he declared.
Persons travelling to Jamaica must continue to present a negative COVID-19 test, taken at least three days prior to travel.
Mr. Holness boasted that the government has "significantly overhauled and simplified" the travel authorisation and application process through the JamCOVID and Visit Jamaica online platforms.
