A 15 year-old student of Knockalva Technical High School in Westmoreland is dead following a motor vehicle crash along the Petersfield main road Tuesday afternoon.
He has been identified as Teo Lindsey.
It is reported that about midday, Teo was driving a motorcycle when he slammed into a car which was driving out of a gas station.
The teenager was pronounced dead at hospital.
The motorist fled the scene.
The police have launched a search.
