MBU contemplating entering overseas markets for reinforcement

Wray and Nephew JPL outfit Montego Bay United (MBU) are contemplating going into the overseas market for new players to bolster their squad for the remainder of this season. 

Montego Bay United put on another winning display on Sunday with a come from behind 2-1 win over Chapelton Maroons at the Montego Bay Sports Complex.

MBU trail Mount Pleasant FA by 3 points after the St Ann team took revenge on Dunbeholden, the only team to beat them this season, with a 4-0 win, their seventh on the trot.

Vere United got the better of Humble Lion 1-0 in the clash of the Clarendon-based outfits. Arnett Gardens, who are joint second, defeated Racing United 2-0 to stay on the toes of the leaders.

In the early game on Monday, Tivoli Gardens and Portmore United ended 1-1 at the Antony Spaulding Sports Complex.

Defending champions Cavalier were pegged back by Waterhouse who earned a dramatic come from behind 2-2 draw in the second game of the double header.

Waterhouse earned a share of the points through last season’s Golden Boot winner Javane Bryan who scored in the last minute of the five that were added.
