A man has been charged with illegal possession of ammunition following a police/military operation in Bull Bay, St. Andrew on Tuesday.
He has been identified as 29-year-old Simon Taylor, a resident of Bull Bay.
About 2:30 p.m., the security forces conducted the operation as part of a clampdown on criminal gangs, illegal weapons and narcotics.
Superintendent Tomilee Chambers, head of the Kingston East Police Division, told Radio Jamaica News that five 9 millimeter cartridges were taken from Mr. Taylor.
