The St. Ann Police are still on the hunt for the four men who escaped from the Ocho Rios lock-up in August.
Senior Superintendent of Police Dwight Powell, Commanding officer for the St. Ann Police Division, says efforts to find the men have so far proven futile.
He says investigations have led them to neighbouring parishes but there is still no word on the whereabouts of the men.
On the run are 40-year-old Terrence Harrelal, of Claremont, St. Ann, who is charged with shooting with intent; 42-year-old Dennis Colbourne, of Islington, St. Mary, who is on a rape charge; 22-year-old Javar Grant, of Priory, St. Ann, charged with illegal possession of firearm; and 30-year-old Jermaine Rodgers, of Mile End, St. Ann, who is also charged with illegal possession of firearm.
The men reportedly used implements to cut away at the gates of the cell to gain their freedom.
SSP Powell is again appealing to the public to report the fugitives to the nearest police station, if seen. The police are also reminding the public that harbouring a criminal is an offence.
