Attorney-at-law Valerie Neita Robertson, speaking with Beyond the Headlines host Dionne Jackson Miller on Monday, October 25

Attorney Valerie Neita Roberston, who represented Kevin Smith, the controversial leader of  Pathways International Kingdom Restoration Ministries, wants an intensified probe into his detention, transfer and the crash which claimed his life on Monday.

Mrs Neita Robertson confirmed that statements have been gathered in her investigation.

The attorney has raised concern about the injuries Mr. Smith received in the crash and whether he was handcuffed while being transported.

Mrs Neita Robiinson, speaking Monday on Radio Jamaica's Beyond the Headlines, said Smith's relatives also have questions about what transpired.
