Leon Dixon, Chief Executive Officer of May Pen Hospital, is to meet with staff from its record room who have been on go slow since Wednesday.
The workers are upset about the state of the overcrowded filing room.
Mr. Dixon says some of the medical records will be moved as an immediate solution to the problem.
"We have found another space close by the medical records department, so we're gonna move those files that are in boxes over to that area so that there's more free access to the records on the shelves," he explained.
He said normality should return to the hospital by the end of the day.
