Midwives have returned to work after three-days off the job.
They called in sick on Monday to protest staff shortages and issues with the public sector compensation review.
The decision to end the sickout follows a conciliatory meeting Thursday morning involving the Jamaica Midwives Association and the Ministry of Health. The meeting was facilitated by the Ministry of Labour.
Midwives Association President Sharon Banbury-Edwards told Radio Jamaica News that while some issues were resolved during the meeting, others remain outstanding.
She did not specify the matters that are unresolved.
The parties will meet again next Tuesday, June 13, to continue discussions.
