Candidates who sat this year's CSEC and CAPE exams have until November 15 to submit requests to the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) to query or review their grades.
Results for the exams and the Caribbean Certificate of Secondary Level Competence were released yesterday evening.
In a news release, CXC said candidates who were not graded can request an investigation free of cost.
Queries can be submitted through schools or the Ministry of Education.
CXC says candidates who attended an examination but were marked absent and those may have questions about a grade and would like to have a script reviewed can also submit a request.
However, CXC says a script review may result in an overall grade either increasing or remaining the same.
If the review results in an increase in the grade, the candidate will receive a refund of the US$30 fee.
Guyana on top
Guyana emerged at the top of this year's CAPE exams.
Director of Operations at CXC, Dr Nicole Manning, says Guyanese candidates performed marginally higher compared to the rest of the region.
100 per cent of candidates received Grade 1 to Grade 5 in the sixteen units.
Grade 1 to Grade 5 are considered passes in CAPE, while Grade 1 to Grade 3 are considered passes in CSEC exams.Guyana also received high pass rates in CSEC exams.
Dr Manning indicated that 70 per cent of students were able to attain Grade 1 to Grade 3 passes.
