Police corporal arrested in connection with cocaine bust in Portmore

A police corporal is one of two persons taken into custody following an anti-narcotics operation in Portmore, St. Catherine.
 
The police have so far seized more than ten pounds of cocaine in the operation which commenced about 9 o'clock Wednesday night and continued into Thursday.
 
Radio Jamaica News has been informed that members of the Narcotics Police and the St. Catherine South Police went to the Jamworld complex.
 
They seized a go fast boat, a large quantity of US currency and the cocaine.
 
The cops also seized two illegal firearms and later arrested the two men, one of whom is the policeman.
