Member of Parliament for Clarendon South East Pearnel Charles Jr. has reported the theft of some of the eight water storage tanks installed to serve residents of Top and Bottom Halse Hall.
Mr. Charles revealed on Friday that the tanks were installed in 2020 to increase water access and storage capacity for residents, only for "one or two community persons" had "taken custody" of some of them.
"We have called on the community to protect the assets and the investments that we've made," he said, adding that two of the tanks were subsequently returned, "and we expect that in short order, the rest will also return... for the benefit of the entire community."
