The police are investigating an incident in which a man was seen carrying a rifle while travelling on a motorcycle near Half Way Tree, St. Andrew, on Thursday afternoon.
Radio Jamaica News was informed that about 1 o'clock, two men were travelling on the motorcycle in traffic on Eastwood Park Road near the transport centre.
The pillion rider was observed carrying the rifle.
Members of the public reportedly made calls to the police emergency number.
The police responded but were unable to find the men who were seen heading towards Red Hills Road.
