Police report progress in probe of Central Village triple murder

The police are following leads in relation to the triple murder in Central Village, St Catherine earlier this month.
 
Matthew Smith, 21, and the brotheres Jahiem and Giovanni Ferguson were shot and killed at a house in McBride Hill on January 8.
 
Superintendent Leighton Gray, Commanding Officer for St. Catherine South police division, reported on Monday that the police are making progress in the probe. 
 
It's reported that the men were at a house in McBride Hill when a group of men carrying M16 rifles and handguns invaded the premises and shot them.
 
The bodies of the Ferguson brothers were found inside the house and Smith in the yard.
 
The police suspect that the shooting was gang related.
