Retired US Army officer remanded until November 25

The Retired US Army Officer who was charged for the fatal shooting of a man in front of his wife in Buff Bay, Portland, two weeks ago, was refused bail when he appeared in the Portland Parish Court on Friday.

Emilie Lee Tracy, 45, a resident of Florida, was remanded until November 25 when his attorneys are expected to renew their bail application.

The American has been charged for the murder of 43-year-old Craig Senior, a Contractor of Woodstock Heights, Buff Bay.

Mr Senior was shot dead in front of his wife on Sunday, October 9.

Investigators reported that Mr Senior was at home with his wife and daughter when the retired soldier drove up to the yard and called out his wife.

Mr Senior's wife went to the gate and told him to leave.

This led to a heated argument between the two.

Mr Senior intervened and confronted the American about his presence at his home.

It's alleged that the American pulled a firearm and shot Mr Senior in the abdomen.

He was later arrested in St Mary.
