Samples taken from bodies of American tourists who died in Bahamas sent for testing in the U.S.

 
Officials say samples extracted from three American tourists who died under mysterious circumstances at Sandals Emerald Bay in the Bahamas on Friday have been sent to an American laboratory.
 
According to US media reports, efforts are being made to expedite the probe.
 
Bahamas Police Commissioner Paul Rolle disclosed on Monday that officials collected samples from the rooms where the tourists were staying.
 
Pathologists are also awaiting a toxicology report from the coroner.
 
The Commissioner is expecting the results within seven days.
 
He identified the deceased as Michael and Robbie Phillips of  Tennessee and Vincent Paul Chiarella of  Florida.
 
Mr. Chiarella's wife, Donnis, was airlifted to Florida and remains in serious condition.
