The search is continuing for four men who went missing over the weekend in Denham Town, Kingston.

The men, who are feared dead by their relatives, were last seen on Friday.

Members of the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) were called in on Monday night to secure a site near the old Public Works property in downtown Kingston, where it is suspected that the men may have been killed and buried.

Christopher Murray, otherwise called ‘Banga’ or ‘Troy’ of Bonds Street; 30-year-old Junior Riley, also of Bond Street; 23-year-old Georay Campbell, otherwise called Kwesi of Pink Lane; and another man who remains unidentified, were last seen in the community on Friday.

Senior Superintendent of Police Michael Phipps, head of the Kingston Western Division, said the area will be secured for searching over the next few days.

There have been reports that the old Public Works compound is a haven for criminals.

Shallow graves have also been cited.

Radio Jamaica News was reliably informed that two areas appeared to have been freshly dug.

Families say they believe the men were killed and their bodies dumped.

Reports are that the men might have been caught stealing in the downtown Kingston area.

The police could not confirm that claim but are calling for people with information to assist in the investigation.
