The second person of interest who was taken in for questioning in connection with the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Denham Town High School student, Devenese Nelson, has been released.
Senior Superintendent Michael Phipps, head of the Kingston West Police, told Radio Jamaica News that the man was released late last week after being questioned.
The police are still searching for Devenese's 17-year-old boyfriend, who is listed as the main suspect in her killing.
Devenese was found dead on June 26 in an apartment shared by the boy and his uncle on Water Street in Denham Town.
She was shot in the head in a reported domestic dispute.
