The JSE Main Index gained 2,371 points on Monday, while the Junior market increased by 55 points.
Among the 53 winners were: Cargo Handlers, Sygnus Real Estate Finance Jamaican dollar shares, Main Event Entertainment Group, Indies Pharma Jamaica and MFS Capital Partners.
The 27 losers included: Salada Foods Jamaica, Sagicor Select Funds - Manufacturing and Distribution, A.S. Bryden and Sons Holdings, TransJamaican Highway 8 per cent shares and Dolla Financial Servces.
Twenty-eight stocks closed the session, selling at the same price they started trading.
