Security forces conducting operation in Grants Pen

The security forces are currently carrying out an operation in Grants Pen, St. Andrew which was the scene of a triple shooting on Friday night.
 
The police and military have been searching the area since Monday morning for persons of interest and illegal firearms.
 
Inspector Tyrone Archer, Sub Officer in charge of the Grants Pen Police Station, told Radio Jamaica News that certain items have been recovered.
 
Asked whether the police had made any headway in their investigation of Friday's triple shooting, Inspector Archer said investigators were "much closer than we were Friday but there [is] a lot of fine-tuning that needs to be done before we can inform members of the public".
 
Reputed area leader Bomsha 'Bomba' Miller, his brother - identified as 'Joe' - and another man were killed in Friday night's attack on Morgan's Lane.
 
A curfew in sections of the St. Andrew North Police Division is scheduled to end this evening.
