A strong detachment of police remains at the Moon Palace Jamaica Grande Hotel in Ocho Rios, St. Ann following an operation to clear the property of all employees.
Action was taken to prevent further protest, after it was revealed that the contract for ICON Construction Group was terminated .RJR News understands that workers were escorted from the property Thursday afternoon and when they arrived on Friday, they were denied access.
Attempts to get a response from property managers and the police were unsuccessful.
There have been protests at the site over the past two months.
