Six new COVID-19 cases bring Jamaica's tally to 1,071

The Ministry of Health and Wellness has reported six new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, increasing the total number of confirmed cases in Jamaica to 1,071. 
 
The new cases are one female and five males with ages ranging from 10 to 61 years.
 
Three of cases were recorded in Kingston and St. Andrew, two in St. Thomas and one in St. Catherine.
 
Three cases are contacts of confirmed cases while the other three are under investigation.
 
There are now 241 active cases under observation with six moderately ill patients one critically patient.
 
One more patient has been released, taking recoveries to 754. 
 
The ministry said 62 patients have been repatriated to their countries of origin.
