Pierre's Youth Economy Programme affords St. Lucia's young aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners a streamlined facility to acquire grant and loan financing to start or expand their micro-business ventures.
The Prime Minister and his Cabinet revealed that the government of Taiwan has decided to invest in St. Lucia's youth economy.
The Taiwanese Ambassador to St. Lucia, Peter Chia-yen Chen, personally handed over a cheque valued at EC$137,000 to the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Economic Development during a brief ceremony on Monday.
