A man was electrocuted on Wednesday evening while trying to make an illegal connection in Newport, Richmond, St. Mary.
A statement from the Jamaica Public Service Company (JPS) says a team had earlier gone to the community to restore electricity.
It's reported that after the crew left the man attempted to make the connection and was electrocuted.
