Unidentified man found murdered in St. Thomas

Detectives assigned to the St. Thomas Police are probing the circumstances surrounding the killing of a man in the parish on New Year's Eve.
 
The victim remains unidentified.
 
According to reports, about 1 p.m. on Tuesday, citizens stumbled upon the body of a male along the Greenwall main road and alerted the police.
 
On arrival of the police, the body was seen face down, motionless.
 
It appears to be that of a male in his early twenties, brown complexion, slim built, and about 5 feet 7 inches.
 
It was clad in dark colour cut-off jeans, yellow T-shirt, and a pair of black sneakers with what appeared to be gunshot wounds to the head and left side of the upper body.
 
The body also has a tattoo on the right lower leg, which reads "RIP OTTEY".
 
This brings to 20, the number of people killed in St. Thomas for 2024.
