The Narcotics Police have adjusted the value of the cocaine seized last week at an apartment in Charlton Court, St. Andrew to over US$500,000.
It was initially reported that the 295 pounds of cocaine seized was valued at over US$500 million.
A property manager has been charged as the police investigate a suspected major international cocaine network operating on the island.
Allan Patrick Constable, 63, has been charged with possession of cocaine, dealing, trafficking, and conspiracy to traffic cocaine.
Mr. Constable is also charged with possession of criminal property.
It's reported that about 10:50 a.m. on January 8, a team from the Firearms and Narcotics Investigation Division acting on information, intercepted a grey Toyota Hiace motor vehicle at the gate which led them to an apartment.
A search of the apartment and vehicle uncovered 122 parcels of cocaine.
Mr. Constable's court date is being finalised.
