Assistant Commissioner Calvin Allen, head of Area Two Police Headquarters

Gunmen on Wednesday shot seven people during an attack in the community of Juno Pen in St. Mary.

Three of the victims died, while the other four have been hospitalised.

One of them is said to be in critical condition.

Gunmen reportedly went to a house in the community of Bentley Lane about 11:30 a.m. and opened fire on the occupants.

Those killed have been identified as 59-year-old Georgette Sanker, her son Jade Westcart and Duschan Dunkley.

Radio Jamaica News was informed that Mr. Dunkley and Mr. Westcart had been on bail for the fatal shooting of a man in Stony Hill Square, St. Andrew in 2019.

Assistant Commissioner Calvin Allen, head of Area Two Police Headquarters, said the attack has been linked to a gang feud in the St. Andrew North division.
