The Department of Correctional Services (DCS) will resume non-contact visits to adult institutions on Monday.
This follows the withdrawal of COVID-19 measures under the Disaster Risk Management Act last Friday.
The DCS discontinued visits in 2020 to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in correctional centres.
The DCS says it continues to maintain strict adherence to all COVID-19 protocols despite a reduction in cases of the virus.
