President Irfaan Ali says the GY$100 thousand cash grant to citizens 18 years and older should be used to empower them to create long-term wealth and opportunities.
President Ali says the grant, which would be paid out by the end of this year, should not be perceived merely as cash handouts but as an investment platform.
He suggested that beneficiaries can pool their resources and embark on business initiatives that will ultimately grow their net income, build wealth, and contribute to the nation's progress.
