Jamaica continues to show its diverse sporting abilities as former champion race horse owner, Alexander Haber, finished third in an international poker tournament in Panama City in Panama.
After going up against 549 players from across the world, Haber made it to the final table of eight, which included three Mexicans, an Argentine, an Australian, a Colombian and a player from Malta.
However, with just two other players remaining in the hunt for the top prize of US$173,000, Haber was knocked out by chip leader and eventual winner, Fabian Ortiz of Argentina.
In finishing third at the Latin American Poker Tournament, Haber walked with 71, 000 USD.
