Former Reggae Boy Luton Shelton dies at 35

Condolences continue to pour in for former Reggae Boy Luton Shelton who passed away on Friday. Shelton died at 35 years of age after battling a long illness with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Shelton scored 35 goals for Jamaica in 75 appearances from 2004 to 2013. 

He won three Caribbean Cup titles and played in three CONCACAF Gold Cups. His impact for the national team was so important that 32 of his 35 goals came in matches won by Jamaica.

Shelton is the only footballer to score four goals on his international debut which came on November 24, 2004 against St Martin in the Caribbean Cup.
