Garth Gayle loses NACAC Presidency race

Garth Gayle, General Secretary of the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA)  was unsuccessful in his bid to replace the late Neville "Teddy" Mccook as President of the North America Central America and Caribbean Athletics Association.

Gayle who has been a member of the JAAA's executive for 13 years, lost to Puerto Rico's Viktor Lopez, 18-13, at the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) congress in Russia.
