Jamaica lose to Barbados in T20 Blaze top of the table clash

Jamaica went down by 25 runs to Barbados in their top of the table clash in the Cricket West Indies Women's T20 Blaze at Providence in Guyana on Monday.

Set 130 to win, Jamaica were restricted to 104-6. Captain Stafanie Taylor top scored with 26, while Chinnelle Henry made 24.

Batting first, Barbados posted 129-4 from their 20 overs, led by West Indies vice captain Hayley Matthews who made an undefeated 74 from 63 balls.

Matthews' innings consisted of 9 fours as Kycia Knight was next best with 14, while sister Kyshona Knight made 10.

Corrine Howell ended with 2-27 for the Jamaicans.
